About us
The donations of land, grants, cash contributions and personal gifts are used and developed by the Foundation with the assistance of Lake County Parks.
We are focused on the future of NW Indiana and in protecting its natural beauty for future generations to enjoy and respect.
Notable accomplishments
• In 1977 a 160 acre farm was donated, that now is a living history farm
• 54 acres of land was donated that now is a living memorial
• We secured a grant from the IN Dept. of Commerce for the purpose of promoting recreational tourism in NW Indiana
• Donations were and are bring used for the perpetual maintenance and operation of Lake County Park facilities
